pre-staging my CCIE Lab

well at last im back to track and my target to get from the lab is by the end of this year
im going to start on Saturday the INE written VOD in order to be ready for labbing and lets see what we will face
if anybody has any suggestions for passing the lab from 1st attempt please share it

another week gone by, more bizarre problems. This time I attempted CCIECERT Lab 1. Got through the dialplan with minor bumps, but got stuck at MOH and Conference Bridge.

MOH would work for the remote sites, streamed via local router's flash
MOH would not work in the HQ site, streamed Unicast.

The hardware conference bridge would not work at all, got the annoying error on the phone, no conference bridge. Now in my studies I have configured bridging and transcoding many more times than I want to admit, so I was baffled. I checked that the bridge was registered and it was. Double checked the MRG and MRGLs, yet the bridge still did not work. I rebooted CUCMs and this did not fix my problem. Finally I decided to shut off the SUB and failover to the PUB. Low and behold it was all working. (You got to be kidding me!!!). Checked the replication status via Unified Reporing and both servers were showing as 2s. Not telling me there is anything wrong, interesting! I'm starting to think that this page is not to be trusted. Consoled into the pub and ran "utils dbreplication status". This took a while (too much time to wait on the lab) and at the end of the output file I got the following:

command failed -- WARNING: replicate is not in sync (178)
System is in an error state and replication is not working. Cdr check command has failed with error code 178

Ok, another DB replication problem, yes I seem to have more of these problems than configuration problems. Love to hear from whether they have run into this or what they do to "avoid" these problems.
