About MySQL Examination
The following exams are or will become available in 2007
CMDEV: Certified MySQL Developer (currently available for MySQL 5.0);
CMDBA: Certified MySQL Database Administrator (currently available for MySQL
5.0);

CMCDBA: Certified MySQL Cluster DBA (available for MySQL 5.1 April 2007);
CMA: Certified MySQL Associate (available Q2 2007)

All MySQL Certifications, with the exception of the CMA certification, are
version specific.

To attain CMA certification requires that you pass one exam



To attain either CMDEV or CMDBA certification, you must pass two exams.
To attain CMCDBA certification, you must first be CMDBA certified, then pass one
additional exam.

MySQL Examination Registration
MySQL AB certification exams are mainly delivered through Pearson VUE.
There are three ways to register for exams:

By registering directly at a test center
By calling a Pearson VUE call center

MySQL Examination Fee
The core exam and second exam cost US$200 each.
